[acc_item title=”Q: What do I need for costume registration?”] A: For registration, you need the following: Size Information o Ladies: Bra Size example (34A, B, C,) Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L) o Ladies: Bottom Piece option (Bikini and/or Hot Shorts) o Men: Waist Size (in inches) Down payments: Minimum of 50% required. We have three (3) female sections Preferred: $300, Premium: $400 and Platinum: $600. Male: $300 Always register through the Bahamas Masqueraders Mas Band Camp or via BahamasMasqueraders.com to ensure that your registration is valid [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: Can I order extra items with my costumes?”] Yes. Corsets are available by special order and at an additional cost. Wire bra options are also available. [acc_item title=”Q: When do I need to pay for my costume?”] A: Your down payment must be paid upon registration, otherwise you order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled. Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection, and can be paid for in house immediately before collecting the costume. Masqueraders can also make advance payments at Bahamas Masqueraders Mas Camp, wire transfer instructions and online via our website in our masqueraders shop at BahamasMasqueraders.com. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: How can I pay for my costume?”] A: Bahamas Masqueraders accepts cash in house at two locations : our Mas Band Camp on Milo Butler Highway & Fire Trail Road Monday to Friday 4pm -8 pm and Saturday 12 noon to 8 pm and at the offices of Bahamas Welding & Fire Wilton Street Monday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm. Payment can be made in our online store using Credit Cards via our website BahamasMasqueraders.com. Payments can also be made wire transfers. Please email for bank wire instructions. Cheques are not an accepted form of payment. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: I’ve purchased a costume from another masquerader… How do I transfer the costume to my name?”] A: Bahamas Masqueraders does not facilitate costume transfers. Please ensure you receive a signed letter from the original costume owner authorizing you to collect on their behalf in addition to their costume receipt form. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: I’m unable to collect my costume… Can another person collect on my behalf?”] A: Yes, you must provide the person collecting with a signed letter authorizing the new owner to collect the costume on your behalf, accompanied by a copy of the original owner’s ID. Alternatively, the original owner can send an authorization email to info@bahamasmasqueraders.com from the email address attached to their costume. The person collecting the costume needs to present the costume order receipt and ensure payment is complete prior to receiving the costume. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: When do I collect my costume?”] A: The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and social media pages. Please ensure we have the correct email address for you. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: I’ve collected my costume, but it does not fit.”] A: Contact the Bahamas Masqueraders Customer Service team or alternatively return to the Mas camp where we can put you on to a producer who will assist in resizing your costume. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: What do I get when I come to costume distribution center?”] A: You will receive your costume box & headpiece, a Bahamas Masqueraders Goody Bag, filled with carnival essentials, your Food Band & Bahamas Masqueraders Wristband. Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband on road fever day will be removed from the band on the route by our security team [/acc_item]

[acc_item title=”Q: What does a Male Platinum Package include?”] A: Male Platinum package with Bahamas Masqueraders allows you to play in your section with the platinum female masqueraders and to receive valet beverage and snack service during the Road Fever parade. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: Do you have security in the group?”] A: Our security services consist of a highly experienced professional security firm which contracts and manages a fleet of suitable officers. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: I would like to design my own costume to play with Bahamas Masqueraders?”] A: Unfortunately, due to constraints with our band size, Bahamas Masqueraders does not allow persons to design their own costumes. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: Where is my section in the band lineup?”] A: The band lineup will be published in the Member’s Guide which masqueraders receive at costume distribution. The information will also be placed on our social media platforms and our website during the week of costume distribution. Band lineup is based on a variety of factors and hence cannot be determined at the time of registration. [/acc_item]

[acc_item title=”Q: I’m having problems making travel arrangements – can Bahamas Masqueraders assist?”] A: We can put you on to several partners who can assist you in confirming your travel arrangements – please email us for further information. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: Can my husband/wife jump in the band?”] A: Bahamas Masqueraders only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band. Non- masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band, however they will not be allowed to participate. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: What music is played on the road?”] A: Bahamas Masqueraders offers a variety of DJs with different styles to appeal to every masquerader. Each truck features a different DJ group. [/acc_item]
[acc_item title=”Q: Where does the band meet?”] A: The starting point is to be determined once final instructions are given by the Bahamas Carnival Commission. Registered members will be informed via email and during costume distribution. Additionally, information will be posted on the website as it becomes available. [/acc_item]
